In the settlement Delijski Vis, Palilula, president Novakovic and member Municipal Council Milos Stojkovic visited the family Vucic. Father Caslav, 85 and 55 years old son Ljubisa live their lives. Ljubisa was employed in `Angropromet` and then the company was privatized, and he was fired 2 years ago. The first year he received compensation from the National Employment Agency and now he is left without income. He is also unable to work because he has a clamp nerve diagnosis (L5S1). Father Caslav was asthmatic and his hearing is pretty weak. He worked in `Gradjevinar` 35 years and has been repeatedly named for the best worker. Until this year, the family has had electrical heating, but due to high costs for electricity and damage to these furnaces, now are using wood. `This Palilula help is of great importance`, says grandfather Časlav. ` My pension, which amounts to 16 000 dinars, is money for our living. Much of the money goes to medication costs for electricity, water and other utilities`-says son Ljubisa. What is left goes to the purchase of basic food and hygiene materials. It's hard to live but it is even harder when a person to fall ill and can not help itself`. Palilula Municipality, during the project from the program EXCHANGE 3 compiled a database of vulnerable people Palilula and in the same time the databases of the Center for Social Work "Sveti Sava" is extended with which Palilula has very good cooperation. |
